Our Staff

Emil Lukiko is a proud alumni of the Law School of Tanzania, he is corporate lawyer who has both academic and practical experiences. He holds an LL.B (Hons.), LL.M. (Corporate and Commercial Law) from the University of Dar es Salaam and Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania. He also holds a Certificate in Intellectual Property from WIPO.


Before joining the Law School of Tanzania in 2011, he was employed by FK Law Chambers (a Commercial and litigation law firm) as a Legal Officer and later as an Associate after an admission to the Bar.

He has worked on a number of contentious and non-contentious commercial matters. He is also serving as company secretary to a number of companies. He also has reasonable litigation experience.  He started by appearing as junior counsel in significant litigations and as sole counsel in some cases involving a wide range of subject matter such land disputes, labour disputes, commercial disputes, criminal cases, matrimonial disputes etc.He is currently working as a full time Instructor at the Law School of Tanzania and as part of his duties, he is serving as a Course Coordinator for LS 107 (Conveyancing), LS 109 (Basic Leadership Management and Accounting for Lawyers) and LS 110 (Legal Aid and Human Rights Advocacy).He is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and a member of the Tanganyika Law Society and East African Law Society.
